Footlight Dance offers special workshops during the school year and many over the summer months.
FALL 2009 - SUMMER 2010:
Sept. 12-26 HIP HOP WORKSHOP - Each Saturday for 3-weeks with Christina Arpp, former dancer with Footlight. 10:00-11:15am / HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
Cost $28.00 for 3 weeks.
NUTCRACKER BALLET - with Eugene Ballet. Performance Dec. 15, sponsored by CSI. Ages 5-18 yrs. can audition for parts to dance with the professionals, Sunday, September 20. Times starting at 1:00pm. Rehearsals will take place on Saturday's until the performance.
TREY MCINTYRE dance workshop
December 18-19 for Intermediate & Advanced dancers. Ballet and Modern
classes will be held at the Community Campus Studio. Int. level $25.00
Adv. level $35.00. Single class $15.00. Call for times.
"Dance in the Mountains" is held each June with guest teachers from outside of the valley. This workshop is for Intermediate and Advanced dancers.
DANCEcamp is held twice during the summer (one week in June and one week in July). This week long camp explores all forms of dance for 2nd-4th graders. Also included is a study of anatomy, dance history and crafts specifically designed for the week's theme.
August Dance Refresher is a week long intensive that takes place the week prior to school starting. An opportunity for Intermediate and Advanced dancers to refresh their skills before fall classes begin.
